Dr. Michael Lipman

Dr. Lipman graduated from the Los Angles College of Optometry (now the Southern California College of Optometry) in 1965. He served his country in the United States Army from 1968-1970. When Dr. Lipman returned home he became associated with Dr. Murry Weber, M.D. who pioneered and introduced intra-ocular implants that are still used in cataract surgery in the United States. Dr. Lipman opened his practice here in Orange County in 1975. Through postgraduate education Dr. Lipman has been trained, certified and licensed in therapeutic Optometry, laser vision correction, as well as management of the laser vision corrected patient.

While Dr. Lipman is well trained in the use of all modern computer-assisted instrumentation he still believes in the "old fashioned doctor patient relationship". It has been through these relationships that Dr. Lipman has been able to establish and maintain the trust of his patients. Although Optometry has always been Dr. Lipman's first passion he has been continuing his postgraduate education in the computer information and networking field. Emphasizing on the introduction of this technology into Optometry and Ophthalmology. Dr. Lipman has always believed that one of life's most precious gifts is the gift of sight. He has devoted over 39 years to making certain that his patients retain that precious gift for the rest of their lives.
